SMS Messaging Terms & Compliance

Program Description: Program Description:
This SMS messaging program sends two categories of text messages from AAPEX ELECTRIC, INC:

(1) Service-Related Messages: including appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, rescheduling updates, and customer support communications, sent to customers who have booked an appointment through our website at https://aapexelectric.net/
or via our scheduling forms and have explicitly opted in to receive service-based SMS notifications.

(2) Marketing and Promotional Messages: including promotional communications and service offers, sent only to users who have separately and explicitly opted in to receive marketing text messages.

Opt-in consent is collected through website or scheduling forms using dedicated, unchecked checkboxes for each message type. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP or OUT, and may receive assistance by replying HELP

Cancellation

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, or text “START” to resume receiving messages.

Compliance

This messaging program complies with CTIA and carrier requirements and adheres to applicable federal and state laws. It follows industry best practices for A2P messaging.

Privacy

All text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services necessary to deliver the SMS service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted.

Prohibited Content

Our SMS messages will never contain:

  • Phishing, smishing, or social engineering attempts
  • Illegal content (must comply with federal and state laws)
  • SHAFT content (sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco) that does not meet regulations

Recurring Messages Disclosure

By opting into our SMS program, you authorize us to send recurring text messages to the mobile phone number you provide. Depending on your service selection, you may receive regular recurring messages. You are not required to agree to receive recurring messages as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Age Restriction (18+)

This SMS messaging program is intended for individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. By opting in to receive SMS messages from AAPEX ELECTRIC, INC, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
